The thunder woke me up early so I’m writing this post now when everyone is still in bed (oh how I love the quiet morn when only Athena and I are up!)
We’ve been experiencing a heatwave in London and so I haven’t been able to do much of anything. I’m one of those people that can’t get along with the heat or summer (contrary to popular belief, there are some of us out there that don’t love summer all that much.) Yes, I won’t deny it, summer makes me SAD. And life has been rubbish lately with so many things getting me down so I haven’t been inspired much creatively either.
I don’t want to moan though, or get too personal on this blog, so let’s get on with Caturday Art, shall we? (oh, shut up, thunder!)
Anyway, Halloween will be here soon and hopefully some cooler weather with it. Though I know there is little hope of October ever being like the autumn of my youthful days – misty, colourful, glorious and fun – at least I can take comfort in the shorter days and longer nights.)
Edit: As I edit this post on Friday afternoon, the air is now fresher and cooler, and nasty humidity has gone, so we sure needed that rain and thunder! Is this the end of summer I wonder?
I edited these photos with BeFunky. I just love the autumnal colours!
Even looks good in Sepia
