Remember Me Thursday: Pet Adoption Awareness Campaign

Millions of shelter pets lose their lives each and every year.

Please join the awareness campaign – be a light for pets by promoting awareness about pet adoption. By remembering those we have lost, we can shine a light on the ones we can save.We need your help to share the word: post, tweet, and light your candle on September 26, 2013.

Be a Part of the Awareness Movement

Be a part of this global awareness campaign by helping spread the message.
There are many ways to get involved with Remember Me Thursday, but the most important way is the easiest of all.  Please spread the message and make sure that your friends and family dedicate Thursday, September 26, 2013, to remembering the millions of orphan pets who lost their lives over the last year.  By uniting animal lovers across the world on one very special day, we hope to bring awareness to the millions of healthy pets who are still awaiting adoption and encourage communities to opt to adopt and reduce the millions of orphan pets euthanized each year.

Get Social – Spread the Word about Remember Me Thursday. Millions of shelter pets need your help!
Change your Facebook profile picture to the Remember Me Thursday icon all day, Thursday, September 26, 2013.

As an advocate for animal adoption, throughout September I am donating 100% of my royalties from my cat rescue story A FOREVER HOME FOR ATHENA to three of my favourite animal rescue charities. One of which is the shelter where I met my little soulmate Athena, who the story is based on.

Note: From October 1st I will switch  back to donating only part of the proceeds. I wish I didn’t have to, but I am not a rich author. I only hope that one day I can afford to help all the animals more.

  1. I’ve been wanting to read her book for a while now. This may be a good occasion.
